Our eco farms
Our company offers you a variety of different garden hand tools, which can be used by anyone. To ensure the quality, suitability, and durability of our tools, we test each one of them on our eco farms in Semič, Slovenia. The property is comprised of several ecologically cultivated lands and all the goods we produce have an eco-certificate.
Our family business is based in Kamnik, Slovenia but we have found a quiet and peaceful place to get away on weekends in Semič. After a couple of years, we saw a vision of creating something more and we always emphasized the meaning of being sustainable and ecological. We bought some land and started to cultivate it. Some years have passed and now we have several organically cultivated plots of land. Every year we produce lots of goods for our family and maybe in the next couple of years for sale.
Every piece of land we bought was formerly a vineyard site and then we converted it into terraces. There is a special layout on these terraces. In every row, we have trees with different herbs growing in between to attract bees. We are strictly against any artificial fertilizers and pesticides and use only natural biostimulators. We can also guarantee that the soil was pesticide-free up to 10 years prior to we bought it. As a mulch, we use wool from sheep from the local environment in Bela Krajina and besides that wheat or rye straw to retain moisture and as a natural nitrogen fertilizer.
These are our plots of land
- Main property Zakladnica dobrih idej (transl. Treasury of good ideas)
