MANUAL
The TITAN backpack sprayer is intended for pest control and fertilizer spraying in greenhouses, hothouses, vegetable and flower plantations and small fields.
1. STANDARD EQUIPMENT
Each TITAN backpack sprayer package contains:
• complete container with pump and lever
• hose with nuts, suction hose and supply valve integrated with lever
• Telescopic spear with adjustable nozzle MR 1.5 mm
• package of additional spare parts, seals and silicone spread
• instructions for use and warranty card
We also offer a backpack version with Vilton seals and a stainless steel telescopic tube.
Marolex Sp. z o. o. reserves the right to make changes to the attached document for parts of the sprayer.
2. PREPARATION AND OPERATION
The container is made of plastic. In the upper part there is a screw covered by a cover. There is a sieve in the inlet. At the bottom of the tank is placed the hinge of the lever, which is connected by wire to the piston of the pump.
Screw the suction hose to the pump to assemble the sprayer. Screw the spear to the handle on the other side of the pipe.
After filling the container with liquid through a sieve, place the sprayer on your back, take the spear in your right hand and the lever of the pump lever in your left hand. As you move the lever down and up, the pump piston moves in a sliding motion. When this one moves
upwards the sprayer sucks the liquid into the pump cylinder and when it moves downwards, it pushes the liquid into the pressure vessel, which creates pressure in the pump.
3. MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
• It is not recommended to fill the container above the working capacity
• Do not store the sprayer exposed to sunlight or temperatures below + 4 ° C
• When working with plant protection chemicals, it is very important to follow the safety rules and strictly follow the instructions written on the back of the package.
• After finishing work, the sprayer must be emptied and rinsed thoroughly with water. The filter inside the handle must be removed and cleaned. When the sprayer is fully assembled, fill it and blow air through it.
• Leaving some liquid in the container over the winter can damage the valve and handle
Attention!
If the pump lever gets stuck during operation, this means that the maximum pressure has been reached and further pumping will cause the safety valve to open. If the nozzle does not work well despite the maximum pressure in the pump, this may be due to a leak through the non-hermetic elements. In such a case, it is necessary to check that the R80f hose nuts on the pump and the handle are tightened correctly and that there are no leaks. If the nozzle problem still exists, check the suction hose as it may fall off the R81f hose connection. The following operations must be performed to install the suction pipe:
• Empty the sprayer completely
• Relieve the pressure in the pump by pulling out the safety valve
• Unscrew the R80f hose nut on the pump
• Turn the sprayer upside down so that the suction hose falls out automatically
Caution: Residual liquid may leak from the container
• attach the suction hose to the pipe fitting R81f and then push it along the hose, attach the hose fitting R80f and screw it on the pump
4. SAFETY INFORMATION
• The nebulizer is not allowed for children, pregnant women and people who take drugs or drink excessively.
• The operation of the sprayer must first be tested with clean water.
• When using chemicals to protect plants (including preparing the mixture and using the packaging) it is necessary to wear special protective clothing: rubber boots, gloves, coat, hat, goggles, mask and respirator.
• It is forbidden to use the spray on an empty stomach or to eat, drink or smoke while spraying. Drinking alcohol is prohibited before and after using the nebulizer.
• The remaining liquid should not be disposed of in open water or in a biological treatment plant. Observe the current order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of 24 June 2002 on hygiene and safety in the use of plant protection chemicals. These remarks also apply in the case of rinsing the container and other parts of the sprayer.
• The sprayer used must be used in a chemical waste plant.
• In case of poisoning, consult a doctor immediately.
• Prepare the spray liquid in a separate container, strictly following the instructions written by the manufacturer.
• It is forbidden to use the sprayer if it is damaged or leaking.
• Repairs must be carried out when there is no more pressure in the sprayer and only it is well cleaned.
• Thoroughly clean the sprayer after each use
• Do not use the sprayer for purposes other than those specified in the manual.
• The sprayer must be completely free of liquid if it is to be stored (especially during the winter)
• WARNING: The only device that produces pressure in the tank is the pump. It is forbidden to use any other equipment for this purpose.
• Marolex does not permit the use of explosive, highly flammable, flammable, highly toxic and oxidizing liquids.
• Unauthorized modifications or use of the nebulizer may result in poisoning of animals or humans, environmental damage, damage to the

sprayer or serious accidents.
• When you are done, change your clothes, wash your hands and face, rinse your mouth and throat, and clean your nose.
• When you have finished spraying, rinse the remaining liquid with water at least 10 times.
• Despite the safety warnings in the instructions, the user is fully responsible for the damage caused.
• It is strictly forbidden to store the sprayer with liquid or under pressure.
• During use and storage, the nebulizer must be protected from use by an unauthorized person, especially children.
5. BACKPACK ADJUSTMENT FOR LEFT-HANDERS
The nebulizer in the version you purchased is designed for right-handers, however
the sprayer can also be adjusted for left-handers. This can be done by the user himself, following the following instructions:
• loosen the screws (No. 47)
• Pull the entire set of levers (link M201, lever RP16, cylinder M204) out of the container and the pump base
• Unscrew the two upper nuts: container nut no. RP11 (with sieve) and pump nut no. RP11a (with full pump) and swap their places
• Attach the lever to the opposite side of the container and secure it with the screws
6. WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND REPAIRS
• The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase
• Sprays with chemical residues will not be repaired
• Complaints must be lodged with the sprayer dealer
• Complaints are considered if you submit defective parts if a full description of the defect is provided
• The number of repairs after which the seller cannot refuse to replace the sprayer with a new one (if there are still defects) is 3
• Operations related to sprayer operation and described in the manual are not considered warranty repairs.
• The manufacturer will not accept the request if there have been changes in pressure regulation or storage, operation, maintenance of the product has not been in accordance with the instructions
• Mechanical damage caused by the user cannot be the subject of a complaint. Damaged parts can be replaced, but costs are charged
• Warranty repairs must always be carried out with Marolex repair parts

7. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONS
After finishing the work and cleaning the sprayer, the following procedures must be carried out for
ensuring long-term operation:
• Unscrew the hose from the lever, remove the R40 filter, clean it under running water and put it back on.
• Unscrew the R50 nut from the integrated lever, pull out the feed valve piston by means of a spring, clean it, lubricate it with silicone grease and replace it
• Unscrew the R64 nozzle nut, remove the nozzle, wash it and refit it. It is recommended to lubricate the R104 pump piston seal. To do this, take out the pin (at draft No. 47) pull the M201 pump wire out of the pump, unscrew the RP11a pump, pull out the pump, remove the RP17 mixer, remove the pump from the pump and lubricate the seal. Assemble everything back
8. DISASSEMBLY AND USE
A damaged sprayer that is not suitable for repair should be used in a way that does not
pollute the environment.
Cleaned plastic elements should be recycled as well as metal parts.
